This is a beautiful Salesman's Sample 5 knife set, mint in the velvet presentation display case. Produced by a New York Cutlery Co., none of the knives have any markings. The intended purpose was to show the knife prior to having your tang stamp and or acid etched logo's added. (1000 min order ea. was needed) Each knife has rich laminated rosewood sides, nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, and a mirror polished 440-ss blade. The knives are as follows: 1@ 3" canoe with sow belly blade. 1@ 3.75" high end canoe with lock blade. 1@ 4" Ballerina Ladies Leg with lock blade. 1@ 3.75" closed, folding hunter with lock blade. 1@ 3.75" closed, folding hunter with lockblade and side belt clip. This would be a fine item for any collector, end user, or reseller to break up. The ballerina ladies leg alone is worth the asking price.
