Up for sale is this RARE Photo album documenting the cosntruction of a cape cod style home in the Brant Beach Section of Long Beach Island New Jersey. The home is still t and is located on 56th street in Brant beach. The album shows photos from the first start of construction up through the beginning of the war. the family who built the home was from Glenside PA. T are also great never before seen photos of the Hurricane damage of 1944, Camp Miquon, The Boulevard with lots of undeveloped land, etc.... Thsi is a one of a kind piece of LBI memorabilia. Don't pass it up. This album being offered for sale is just one of an almost 600 card collection of postcards of Long Beach Island that I have amassed over a 20 year period. My collection includes cards of Barnegat City , Harvey Cedars, High Point , Loveladies, Surf City , Ship Bottom, Brant Beach, Beach Haven Terrace and Beach Haven. In addition t are photographs, Souvenir China , paperweights, etc... that I will eventually be selling. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I hate to break up this collection, but the time has finally come to do it, and move on. For those not familiar with my past sales, each of the cards has the words scanned for e-bay placed over top of the image. This is NOT PART OF THE POSTCARD . It is done so that people too cheap to bid on these cards cannot just snag the images off of e-bay. This collection cost a lot to put together and I really do not feel like just handing over these images to anyone with computer skills for free. Paypal is the preferred method of payment. Packing and shipping will be a flat $6.00 for each postcard. If you are the winner of multiple auctions, T will be no additional charge after the first card. Card will be carefully packed in a hard plastic sleeve and heavy packing to protect it. I will get items out as quickly as possible, however, do be patient, I do this in addition to my job.
