Have fun - and good luck! This auction is for a VERY, VERY ULTRA RARE vintage Breyer horse, Proud Arabian Stallion PAS, in mahogany bay - and he's a chalky. Let me state to you collectors out t that he is NOT a base-coat chalky, but a solid white plastic chalky. If you are looking for the powdered finish - this is not him, if you are however looking for a 1970's oil-crisis era NON-TRANSLUCENT, NON-OPAQUE solid white plastic model with an OF finish - this is your guy! He is still a chalky, and I want it understood that t are two completely different types. Please refer to your Breyer guides if you are not aware of the difference. Breyer models were painted on opaque plastic and it is believed that in the 1970's during the oil crisis that the chemical balance was changed in the plastics for a very short period to produce models which were then solid white plastic as opposed to the glossy sort of translucent ones which contained more oil. (Again, please refer to your Breyer guides for more details, or ask me - I will gladly answer any questions you may have about him.) He was up for auction before, and t was some discrepancy regarding his finish. He is ABSOLUTELY OF. I am certain because I am his ORIGINAL OWNER and he has never been modified in any way. T was some question as to his hooves since they are a (sorta messy!) glossy black
