Budweiser/Anheuser Busch Championship Clydesdale Team Sign Lighted, made in 1968 Measures; 70 ½ Inches Long 20 ¾ inches high 11 ½ inches Deep Weighs approximately 50 pounds VERY RARE Not many left in the world Manufactured in 1968 by Budweiser (Anheuser Busch) and never sold retail, this sign has been in my best friend's family for two generations. They are the original owner, and have had this sign in numerous retail stores and restaurants over the years. Carefully stored since semi-retiring in the last couple of years, the family has run out of room and has ask me to sell it for them. Similar signs have been sold in the last few years for close to $10,000 - but we were not able to find a single sign like this for sale anyw in the Country right now to compare it to. Nothing appears to be broken or damaged other than several drilled holes on the bottom and top wood framed corners for mounting brackets w it was used to mount on the wall (pictured). The light does not turn on right now (I just tried it), but it always worked in so it is most likely just a burned-out bulb that is easily replaced. We are listing it exclusively on eBay, and do not have it listed or advertised anyw else right now, so your bid is your contract and ours as well, since we will not pull the listing prematurely for ANY reason (large cash offers included). Viewing; For an appointment to view this at our warehouse in San Clemente California before bidding, please contact us through eBay and we will be happy to accommodate you. Payment; Payment expected in a reasonable amount of time and with any method except credit cards direct. PayPal, credit cards through PayPal, Money Order, Wire Transfer, Personal Check and Cash accepted. Funds for Money Orders and Personal Checks need to clear prior to Pick-Up/Delivery. Shipping; Local Pick-Up only has been requested and is preferred - however we will ship this anyw in the world for you under the following conditions; 1) Any shipping costs will be paid by buyer. 2) You will need to arrange and pay for shipping yourselves directly with the carrier. We do not want to be involved in arranging or have any liability for potential breakage during transit. If you do decide to ship this, you do so entirely at your own risk. 3) Our advice would be to contact a national moving company to ship this in the US by truck, or worldwide by ship or plane. The safest way is for them to come to our warehouse and build a custom crate for it and then have them hand pack it for you. Please purchase insurance on this for the full value of the auction closing price, as this is a fragile piece that will need to be packed extremely well and handled very carefully. We will do whatever we need to do to accommodate your shipping company, including giving them warehouse space to work while they crate it for you, help them load it with a fork lift and be open at any time day and night that they need us to. 4) To pack this properly, it should be taken apart and each individual horse/item wrapped individually in cotton or foam to prevent damage (which we think is what Budweiser/Anheuser Busch did back in '68 when they sent these to their high volume distributors). 5) We strongly suggest trying to pick this up in person if at all possible, as this one of a kind looks fragile and needs to be handled with care. If you have ANY questions at all, please do not hesitate to touch base with me. Thank you for checking this rare collector's item out!!
