This is a STUNNING Circa 1850 Victorian 14K Rose Gold and 14k GF Bypass bangle bracelet with an Etruscan Motife centerpiece ..this will suit the serious collector of Victorian Jewelry. WILL FIT A MULTITUDE OF WRISTS 5" - 7 1/2" It has an antique yellow rolled gold band and the front centerpiece is rose gold for a gorgeous contrast. . The center has Etruscan finials to complete this heirloom piece ...This will compliment both rose gold and yellow gold jewelry This would make a fabulous and UNIQUE gift for a loved one especially for an upcoming wedding due to its lavish design PLEASE NOTE T APPEARS TO BE DARK AREAS ON THIS BANGLE BUT IT IS SIMPLY REFLECTION ONLY DUE TO THE HIGH SHINE.. IT IS TRULY STUNNING AND WAS SO HARD TO PHOTOGRAPH HISTORYIt is Circa 1850 by design and styling These HIgh Victorian bangles are so RARE these days and this one is a true MUSEUM piece! It has a beautiful flowing design - these are called WEDDING bangles....and it just oozes Victorian , and together with the beautiful center, has a beautiful Olde Worlde charm. I have sold the matching one to this some years ago These were often worn by the Victorian bride, and given as a gift of good luck, or for faith hope and charity..this is truly a nostalgic piece from a bygone era. These are becoming extremely rare, and they command in the upper hundreds to thousands on antique websites. This one is in wonderful antique condition It is not stamped that I can see... and I was informed the band is 14k rolled gold . , and the centerpiece and findings are 14k rose gold shell . Prior to 1907 antique gold was not required to be hallmarked for gold content..The outer surface was tested and was positive for 14k gold.DESCRIPTION & SIZING The centerpiece has an Etruscan look and t two small orbs on the centerpiece.. The center has Etruscan flowers and other carved motifes. Flanking the centerpiece are large FINIALS that are spear shaped to complete this piece. The bypass band is tubular. This centerpiece is amazing...It captures the eye..it is so shiny..and will get noticed ! Just STUNNING...this is of MUSEUM quality...and a piece meant for GOOD LUCK and PROSPERITY It is very early Victorian and this jewelry is so highly sought after by collectors. This style of bypass is highly prized and these command in the mid to high hundreds on antique websites . It has that antique patina you would expect with quality Victorian jewelry. It is an oval shape and is hinged, and opens like a scissor action. . This expandable band still has perfect tension in the swing spring mechanism. The band measures 1/8" in width The centerpiece measures 2 " by 1/2" in width. The center large Rose Gold section measures 1/2" in height The bangle measures 6 1/2" inside and will expand to fit over a 7 1/2" wrist which is rare for these times as they were normally quite small. .. and would suit a wrist from 5" - 7 1/2". The look and feel of this bangle is fabulous, it has that smooth feel when putting it on, that usually is associated with solid karat gold. This is in fabulous antique condition ! It really is beautiful , just an exquisite heirloom piece from times goneby It weighs approx 20 grams which further adds to its appeal ! What a lovely gift this would make.. Antique gifts are unique and can be handed down as treasured family heirlooms...and would be perfect for a loved one or an upcoming bridel . This is a MUST for the Victorian collector, or the fastidious or serious collector. The photos do not reflect the beautiful antique rose gold and yellow gold coloring, the photos were taken in full sunlight .and the photos appear brassy ...they do NOT do this gorgeous thing justice at all !
