ITEM: Up for auction is a Rare c1880 Solid Silver Gold Gilt Neillo Figural Snuff Box. The Box is part of a Large Collection of Antique Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction as you can see in the last pictures. The Box is one of the nicer period examples we have seen. The Box is Compleltey Hand Made and Decorated. The Box also has a nice Large Stag and Dow figural Top, and Niello work all around. The Box also opens and closed perfectly with a Fine Quality Inlaid Top Hinge. The Box also has a unique design w you push on the sides to release the top lid. The Box also has a Rich Gold Gilt Interior. The Box is in nice original condition with some light Niello loss to the sides, and no cracks, or repairs. For its age in nice original condition. The Box says inside "Show me the way". The Box has a makers mark being JK, along with an Austrian Diana head mark. I do believe this mark would be an import mark, and that the Box would be Russian in origin by the design. The Box weights 80 grams. The Box is also a nice size for display measuring 2 3/4 inches wide, by 3/4's of an inch tall. I have no idea what the Fine 1880 Solid Silver Gold Gilt Niello Figural Box would be worth. You do not see to many examples as nice come up for auction. As usual we just start all our items off low, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
