This is a MID 19th CENTURY STAFFORDSHIRE PAIR of WHIPPET DOGS . This is a RARE pair of Whippets seldom seen reclining. THEY ARE GUARANTEED A 19TH CENTURY PIECE.I sold several others this past month and all came from the same old House ,that house was over 200yrs old in an old English Empire period Colony and I bought them myself with a Large Staffordshire Lion which I sold on ebay which went back to England and that realized $2,200!! I also was surprised ..happily though.These have normal age wear with no chips or cracks. The length of each dog is 5" inches.They make a very attractive pair and they have that very old age charm to them that no one can duplicate with copies.Please see my interesting other auctions.
