A beautiful specimen of crystalline gold in quartz from the 1800's Bonanza Mine of Sonora, Ca. An excellent example of crystalline gold in translucent bright white quartz. Absolutely gorgeous, the winner will be very pleased. Crystalline gold is highly prized by collectors and is very valuable, prices on the internet vary from 50 to 300 dollars per gram depending on quality, size and rarity. Type in the key words 'Crystalline Gold' on Google and take a look. We are selling a collection from the Sonora Mines on behalf of a local family. T will be several more beautiful pieces of high grade collectable ore listed in the coming weeks. This mine yielded a 28 lb. nugget in 1851 and produced 990 lbs. of gold in one week in 1879. An incredible 12 tons of gold were taken from this Sonora vein early on in the California goldrush. Our ruler is in inches, the weight is 1.24 Grams.
