RARE AND GORGEOUS CATHOLIC FRATERNAL SWORD: This listing is for a fraternal sword which bears a red Maltese Cross and the initials "KSJ" on the scabbard, which I believe to stand for Knights of St. John. Other than a few tiny spots of oxidation this sword looks like it was made yesterday. All points are tight and t is no name on the blade, which is not ornamented in any way. This sword bears a maker's mark of "West Germany" (please see detail of drag). Overall length of sword and scabbard is 37 and 7/8ths inches. The length of the blade is 29 and 3/4ers inches. T is a lovely cork gasket at the hilt w it joins with the scabbard which is original to the piece. This sword is slightly longer than standard fraternal swords and has a point which is very sharp (be careful!).
