Hello folks. Up for auction is a great piece, right from the library of one of the best known racing pigeon men, Chas. Heitzman of Jeffersontown, KY. This man was so far ahead of the times with his lofts and ways of raising, flying and yes even showing his pigeons. This was one of his original pieces that he had on display in his personal library and used in his books and pedigree and advertising. This is a stunning set of 2 pictures, 1 of a silver and 1 of a dark check tick eye. They are professional photographs and done with a crisp clean process applied to a flat light blue background and then put on a heavy card stock. Each picture is about 7" wide X 5 1/4" high. Just STUNNING, and a once in a life time chance to one a piece of racing/pigeon history. I did not research what birds they are, with all the info I have listed and to be listed it should not be hard to do to find these pictures in his and other publications. You can count on them being top of the line breeders or flyers or this master breeder would not have put the time and money into this high end picture. He and the family gifted it to me first hand along with some other stunning pigeon info that I will be listing in the days to come.
