This 7-DAY AUCTION with NO RESERVE is for this fantastically gorgeous rare classic. It's a Case 5151 SAB SG JAGUAR with super-thick and well-matched genuine Burnt Stag scales. 3-dot 1997. Never sharpened, never used, never handled without gloves. Mint...period. Complete with original box and brochure. The 5151 SAB SG model number translates as follows: The first 5 is for genuine stag scales; in this case they are the super rare Burnt Stag. The first 1 is for 1 blade. The 51 is for the Jaguar pattern style and handsome shape of this knife. The SAB is for Saber ground blade; it's sides are concave, making it a rare knife in Case's prolific history of special knives. The SG is for the swing guards that move into place when you open the blade, to protect your fingers...like the scabbard on a sword. The blade locks into position, further protecting the user. It's a full 5 1/4" long with the blade closed. On the tang it has 3 dots signifying 1997. Check out the pics of the Jaguar etch on the blade...it's absolutely full and perfect. I went through several boxes of these when I purchased it new, and inspected every knife. I selected this one for having the best scales of ANY of the others, and it also had the best etching.
