Offered in todays Auction is this rare and wonderful Renaissance Revival Walnut Library Table. This has to be the "Cadillac" of Library Tables, possibly made by Brooks or Pabst. It has four large claw feet that support the Table. We have seen this just a few times in all the years of selling Furniture. This Table has Burl Panels, incising, and rosettes all around. The incising on the ends has an eastlake style and reminds me of Pabsts work. You be the judge on who made it, the only thing we know is that it is one of the best!!! T is one large Drawer. Check the pics for the Quality!! It has a shaped top with a black leather top that is lifting on the edges. The Table is missing the burl on two corner pieces on one side. T is a split on the top skirt and t is some chips to the burl on the Drawer. These are minor issues that are not unusual for a piece of furniture from the 1870s and could be easily restored. On the bottom of the Drawer in pencil is the name HM Sewall 963 washington St. This came from a Portland Maine Victorian. It measures 27 1/2" wide by 48 1/2" long. Buyer pays S&H. We must receive payment within 10 business days to complete all transactions.
