This auction is for one (1) RARE treasure: COCA-COLA BOTTLE CARRIER/ wooden advertising box! I will be listing many more boxes from some of my collections and recent acquisitions in other auctions -- be sure to check them out! [Note: For interested buyers, will temporarily hold items to be shipped together to save winning bidders some $.] Just a terrific piece, it's in fantastic condition -- necessary addition for display or collection! T is some wear to paint, primarily to side top edges and handle, as to be expected from handling, use, and age! The right side end's graphic is visible, but very faded. Everything is solidly attached, jointed, and pieced together -- WOW! The wrap around ridged metal straps and nails are all present and securely attached, which is remarkable for these pieces. Front and back side panels read same: in yellow with red: DRINK/ COCA-COLA/ IN/ BOTTLES Ends both read same: yellow, with red circle/graphics; PAUSE/ GO REFRESHED/ COCA-COLA/ TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF./ fantastic early graphic of hand, holding a coca cola bottle, between wings! The inside separator piece reads, in red script: THE NEW CONSUMER CASE/ TRADE MARK (I just noticed a JT carved into top left edge of handle piece. It's worn, so been t awhile.) Absolutely wonderful imprinting and patina, this is a scarce Coca-Cola carrier box! Fantastic historical find you just "gotta have!" Affordable starting price and no reserve makes this a great acquisition for novice and invested collectors alike. Great for collectors of Coca Cola memorabilia, antique wooden boxes/crates/carriers, advertising pieces, great kitsch, or wonderful early items in general. (Know any JT's? This would be an unusual gift!) This steal-of-a-deal treasure measures approximately 8 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/4". Please see pictures for details.
