PLEASE READ!!! I did not end this auction previously by choice. Please read below the description so you can avoid what happened to me. ALSO!!! Ignore the shipping above - Below the description I will let you know more about the shipping. The main description has not changed - anything I have added is below the main body. I APOLIGIZE ABOUT THE SHIPPING...PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION. IT IS NOTAN OPTION TO TAKE IT TO A SHIPPING COMPANY WHICH IS ONE OF MY OPTIONS. What an incredible coffee mill!!! Just look at the pictures - this is a mill you may have never seen and may never see again. It is the earliest double wheel mill I have ever seen and may be the earliest ever manufactured. It is in perfect working order. I didn't take a picture of the grinding burrs but they are both t and are in great condition. Only the very earliest single wheel Enterprise grinders have had a mechanism similar to this - but they are single wheel grinders. The wheels are marked THE SWIFT MILL LANE BROTHERS POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. In front of the hopper it is marked PATENTED JAN 14, 1868. Behind the hopper it is embossed PATENTED JUNE 0 1874. Just look at the paint!!! This mill is a stunner. It is also heavy!!! This mill stands 2 feet 6 inches tall. It measures 15 1/4 inches wide from wheel to wheel. The diameter of each of the wheels measures 23 1/4 inches. The diameter of the hopper is 10 1/2 inches. I don't have a scale to weigh it, but would imagine that it is right around 100 pounds (guestimating from lifting it). That brings us to how can you get it to your collection or home? The easiest way for me is if you can get to Harlan, Iowa or even Walnut, Iowa and pick it up. That is free for both you and me. I would be happy to try to deliver it within 250 miles of Omaha, Nebraska. I will charge $20 for each 50 miles one direction (essentially $20 for each 100 miles round trip). Another option is I will take it to Craters & Freighters in Omaha, Nebraska. I have never used them but they come very highly recommended. They will ship anything anyw worldwide. I can't give you a shipping quote and you will be responsible for paying the tab. One last option is for $50 I will deliver it to the ACME convention this summer in Pennsylvania. Ignore the ebay shipping options on cost - I just had to fill it in so they would allow me to list this item. They really need to work on that shipping system. anyway...I have only seen this mill one time ever before. That one was completely restored and completely repainted and sold for $2800!!! This mill blows that one out of the water. I am selling this piece with NO RESERVE!!! Please feel free to email me with any questions. I will be leaving early tomorrow and will be gone until late Sunday. I can answer any questions when I return. Don't miss out on this very rare coffee grinder. Thanks and good luck!!! OKAY - shipping...I have done some research. These are over the phone estimates and I still don't have a scale for an exact weight. Crating the grinder will cost approximately $125. Shipping it within the US should run $75-$100 more. So anyone within the continental US can hopefully expect to pay $200 plus or minus $25. WORLDWIDE...the crating is still $125. They said it will be very difficult and expensive to ship it directly to someone's home. It can pretty much be shipped anyw to an international airport for $350-$400. If you can get it at the airport or arrange to have it delivered at that point - you can save a ton. So internationally to an airport the cost should run right around $500. REMEMBER THESE ARE ESTIMATES!!! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COVERING SHIPPING IF YOU WIN THE ITEM EVEN IF IT RUNS OVER THE ESTIMATE!!!EBAY SCAM!!! I apologize for the auction being ended early. is what happened and please don't let this happen to you. I received an email from a legitimate ebay member that said one of my other auctions had been copied and relisted. I clicked on the item number. This gave the ebay scammers...
