* PLEASE NOTE * * WE'LL ALSO BE PUTTING UP SOME OTHER VERY NICE ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PHONOGRAPHS and CYLINDER PLAYERS THIS WEEK SO PLEASE CHECK THEM ALL OUT * T ARE NO RESERVES * First manufactured in 1908 this "BY" Model was Columbia's largest outside horn disc machine ever made. And as far as I know the only "serpentine" case they made for the disc horn machines. Also called the "New or Improved Imperial" this is simply stunning in it's beauty. This is all original and has been lovingly and professionally restored. It has it's original 4 spring motor (if you'd like a pic just ask) and it is whisper quiet and plays for a long time. The sound is very good and very loud. The case itself measures 16 3/4 x 16 3/4 and is 8" high. The entire machine is in excellent condition and VERY solid...the case has no nicks but t is a hinge repair in the back (see pic). It was split but not all the way thru and has been so nicely done that unless you know it's t you wouldn't see it. The horn again is very solid with no splits or seam seperations but t WERE some splits in it before the restoration. Except for one minor one on the inside all were on the outside and do run with the grain and are not that noticeable but are t (see closeup). Personally I think both the case and horn are in exceptional condition but I've taken plenty of good pictures so please see for yourself ...I think you'll agree this is one very beautiful and rare machine that anyone would be extremely happy with and proud to own. And please be sure to check out all our other antique phonographs, victrolas and related items that we'll be putting up in the next few weeks. We have an excellent reputation on and off ebay for selling and servicing these antique phonographs and as a Power Seller award winner you can feel very comfortable placing bids T are no handling fees and this will be carefully packed in two large parcels and shipping to the lower 48 will be $89. Of course pick up or delivery to the Union show is FREE. Thank you and good luck with the auction
Of course this does have the 12" turntable and as you can see the dust ring is no longer t The Columbia decal on the front is very nice and it is the original.
