Rare Crosley 601 Antique Radio in Orig Box! Lane Upton Description: Lane Upton Antique Radio Collection Estate We are selling the wonderful collection of radios, collected, and lovingly restored by Lane Upton, from Salt Lake City, Utah. Lane was an engineer for Karr Engineering, then Delcon, and then Eitel-McCullough which is Eimac, later known as Varian. He was known by many as âeoeeimacerâe online. Much more information may be found about Lane, by reading the latest AWA Journal July 2008 Vol. 49 /#3. Lane was expert in restoring and refinishing. This collection bears the evidence. Lane authored many articles for the AWA (Antique Wireless Association) Journal, TCA (Tube Collectors Association), etc. He was a guest speaker at several events, and active in helping all collectors who loved the industry. We do not know the details of each individual item in the collection, we will list the make and model numbers if known, and give photos of the items. Because of the old age of the vintage equipment, and we cannot possibly test each item, these products are sold as is, in found condition. Lane mainly collected only items as old as he was or older, = 1927! Lane collected and restored these for his own collection, meaning it needed to be the best!
