Up for auction is this very important goldtone crown Trifari bracelet. It was created by celebrated jewelry designer Jonathan Bailey who designed for Trifari in the 70's. Jonathan Bailey was world renowned for his jewelry designs. In the early 70's, Vouge models graced magazines wearing his beautiful and unique jewelry. Unfortunately, he is no longer with us, as he died in 1995. Before he died, he and his wife created their own sea and sea animal jewelry designs using the lost wax casting method. This bracelet is in excellent like new condition. The gold plating is so scrumptous, it looks like real gold. It was a part of his Trifari Sculturesque collection, featured in the book Collecting Costume Jewelry 202 by Julia C. Caroll on page 239. I have included pictures of the ads w the model is wearing this very bracelet. It has a secure clamp slide closure and safety chain and is signed with the crown mark and Trifari. The design looks like free form golden scalloped sea shells. Unreal beauty. His jewelry is so sought after, you just can't find it. A must have for the serious Trifari collector. It measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter. Ships within two business days of secured payment. US Insurance is required on this item and is included in the shipping price. Low start bid, and No Reserve! International bidders, shipping will be more. Please e-mail me for shipping costs before the end of the listing. I think that you will find my shipping prices fair. Good luck and Happy bidding!
