Rare! Georges Omerth Signed Bronze! (1895-1925 Paris, France ) Hello, What I have up for sale is a Very Nice Rare Georges Omerth Bronze and Ivory carved Statue. The Statue is of a girl gathering. This figure is made in excellent Detail from the laces on her shoes, to the woven hat she is wearing. The Bronze carving is just Beautiful. The face and both hands are made out of Ivory. Each finger is well carved and the face is so realistic. One can really get a good feel for this Artist through this piece! It is signed "Omerth" on the back of her dress and also the number, "4286." The Piece measures a little more then 8 inches tall if the marble base is included and just under 7 and a half inches tall if you don't include the base. The Bronze is in EXCELLENT condition and has no Cracks, Chips, Dents, Dings, or anything along those lines. This piece probably dates back to the 1920's I believe. Just a wonderful Bronze with Ivory made by a well known French Artist. This Piece of Artwork would make a Great Gift For ANYONE for the Winter Season!!! If you have Any Questions, Please contact me!
