Year: Late 1950's Dimensions: The entire sheet is 14" x 11". The actual animation is 11-1/8" x 7-3/4" Note: The item in the photo that you are bidding on is the actual item that will be shipped to you. This auction is for an authentic, and rare, original Dye Transfer from the private collection of the late Disney legendary, Ub Iwerks . This Dye Transfer is from an original animated cel from the Feature Film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It includes the original background and is in excellent condition. This Dye Transfer has the actual Pegs created by Ub Iwerks, and referred to at Disney as the "Peg Bar". The Peg Bars authenticate that it is an original. Many years ago, Ub Iwerks created the Dye Transfer process specifically for Walt Disney so that he could present them as gifts to visiting dignitaries and special guests. They stopped making Dye Transfers more than twenty five ago. Ub Iwerks began working with Walt Disney in the 1920's through the 1960's. Ub was known at Disney for his animated genius and his technical wizardry. He was the creator that first sketched and brought to life, Mickey Mouse.
