We are offering this rare Yongzheng period cylindrical doucai incense stick holder. The beautiful vase has a cylindrical form and a recessed base. The slender exterior is delicately decorated with a large phoenix bird perched among blossoming peony plant and bamboo groves on stylized rocks. The decoration was executed with fine Qing Imperial doucai palette of clear enamels outlined by fine underglaze cobalt blue lines and enhancement. The recessed base is inscribed with a six-character Yongzheng mark within a double-square in underglaze blue. The unglazed foot rim exposes the silky smooth porcelain body typical of Imperial wares. This lovely incense stick holder is in excellent condition. Size: 10.4cm; diameter: 3.5cmWe are collectors of Asian art for the past 40 years.
