NOTE Please check out my other auctions. I have numerous veterinary items for sale and will continue to add items.This auction is for a old, original dovetailed wood box which once held Dr A.C. Daniels veterinary remedies and medicine for emergency home care of livestock and horses. These cases were produce around 1904-1905 based on the address of Dr Daniels on the inside label (he moved location in 1903 to Milk Street). These cases were made in limited number and only a small number survived the years in the condition as this one. The case is 8" tall 6 5/8" deep and 12 5/8" wide. The handle on top has a label with the engraving of "Dr. A.C. Daniels Veterinary Medicines No. 172 Milk St. Boston, Mass.". Who knows how many animals survived from the products contained in this kit. Please see detail photo's of the box. This box displays great. I have my collection of Dr Daniels on top of it and inside. Old veterinary items are highly sought after and extremely collectable especially unusual ones such as this emergency case. They are very hard to find. Remember, it is never to early to shop for those special occasions or Christmas. Any collector of veterinary items would be very glad to have this case in their collection.
