Very Rare! E. Carre' Soda Bottle

Mobile Alabama

Blob Top Bottle ca. Late 1800's

Up for bid is this blob top bottle produced by E. Carre' Bottling Company, Mobile Alabama, pre-1900. T he Carre' Bottling Company began in approximately 1867. They sold mineral water, Cider, and Soda Water. E. Carre' Bottling Company made a variety of drinks; for example, Brownies (similar to a Yahoo), Cream Soda, Root Beer (Sasparilla), Orange, Grape, and most of the fruit flavored soft drinks. They also produced "Fosko" which was their most popular soda, starting in the early 1900's. The bottle is 7" tall x 2.5" wide and is in great condition with no cracks or chips. T are a couple of small fleabites(see last photo). The inside of the bottle needs a good cleaning. The bottle does have quite a few bubbles and some manufacturing defects, which is typical in a bottle of this age.
