Take some time and look at my other listings: Eames Era - Danish Modern Auctioning : Wow what a beast!! - let's talk about this clock. This was designed by George Nelson and produced by Howard Miller factory (fact straight from Howard Miller). It is model # 557. It was made in 1966 and very few of them were produced; due to the size and the cost . The clock is working and has the original key to wind it. The front of the clock is aluminum and the sides are walnut . The background of the clock is burnt ORANGE. Or a burnt RED. The clock retailed for $80 in 1966!!! TOP OF THE LINE ! All the dimensions and information can be found on the pic (enlarge it and look). It's huge and it's deep. It's 37" tall - 17" wide (at the widest part w the clock face is) AND 4" FULL inches deep. The walnut is 4" deep! The pendulum is 22" long! The very bottom (end) section of the clock looks like it is beginning to separate. Or maybe it was made that way - a reglue would be recommended - but you decide. Could be the clock has been sitting on a floor for a while. T is no chunks or gouges out of the wood - I would consider a++++ condition. A rare find for me and estatic to offer it. Being shipped ground due to over size. The first $100 of insurance is free. My notes to buyer : I ship everything priority USPS. I will ship internationally (international buyers Pay Pal ONLY). Insurance is optional and HIGHLY recommended (spend the extra couple bucks $1.65 up to $50)....I pack all pottery/glass with bubble wrap and paper - very carefully - but once it leaves I am not responsible.
