You are bidding on this unique and very beautiful THREE FACE GLASS PEDESTAL CAKE PLATE. It is in GORGEOUS - EXCELLENT CONDITION, no nicks, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs. It appears to have never been used. It is quite simply Beautiful . This Cake Plate is beautifully detailed and its frosted Three Face Pedestal is silky to the touch. The original mold for the Three Face line was made by George Duncan & Sons, which later became Duncan & Miller, and they produced the line from 1878-1886. This particular Three Face Pedestal Cake Plate was made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art (established in 1870), having the letters "MMA" embossed at the top of its Pedestal. It sits 7 1/8 inches high and its scallop edged crystal top measures (diameter) 9 5/8 inches across. Please see all our pictures below.
