You are bidding on a superb large piece of early Haviland & Co. ovoid redware vase, which stands 10.25" inches tall and approximately 8.5" inches at the widest part of the body. Each flower and detail is impressed and is hand painted with gold and teal. The top portion of the vase has small flower with tiny center impressions . The center of the vase is a symetrical design impressed all around with eight large petaled flowers and many small flowers along with small berries painted teal. On the bottom section w the center decoration ends, just below is the initials A.D. . On the base is the H&Co mark and the number '24' and the initials R.B . and the number '3.1' beside the initials . This extraordinary vase is in outstanding condition with no cracks, chips or repairs...WOW !!! The fact that it is in perfect condition with light wear to the paint is unbelievable concidering its age.
