RARE EARLY SAW SIGNED HENRY DISSTON
Sold For:

A very early saw that is signed by HENRYDISSTON, PHILADELPHIA. I believe this saw is one of the earliest examples bythis PA saw maker. The brass medallion along with the blade is exclusively identified by HENRY DISSTON alone. The handle along with all the brass fittings are original to the piece and never taken apart. The handle shows little signs of wear and with no cracks or breaks. The blade alone is only 16 inches long, which makes it a desirable example for display. The blade is also extremely, DEAD-ON straight, true, never bent and marked with the number 8. Buyer pays actual shipping and optional insurance. Money orders/personal checks accepted NO PayPal. (items paid via personal check are shipped after payment clears sellers bank, approx. 10 days)
