This auction is for a VERY RARE (crown is at 4:00 position) LARGE VINTAGE ELECTRIC 11J MICKEY MOUSE WATCH in great running condition. The case is a unique design, beveled or fluted edges which sparkle as you move. The dial has a beige linen look to it. This wind-up watch was a "DISNEYLAND EXCLUSIVE," which means it was sold only at Disneyland. This is the last of the "ELECTRO MAGNETIC MOVEMENTS," just before the quartz movements fazed out the great ELECTRO MOVEMENTS. The wonderful watch was made by, the Standard Watch Co. This is a large men's size watch, not to say that it couldn't be worn by a woman. The watch measures appr. 43.3mm lug to lug x 34.6 mm including the crown. This was an expensive watch when it was new, and now it is highly collectible. Seventeen (11) jewels; means that it will run smoother and longer because the jewels reduce metal to metal friction. I have never seen another watch like this. This watch has just returned from the local watchmakers. In the 48 Continental States, I can ship this for $5.65.
