Rare Tall Heisey Orchid Etched 64 Oz Pitcher / Jug
Elegant Depression Era No Reserve!! Offered with No Reserve is a gorgeous rare and hard to find tall beverage pitcher in the Heisey Orchid pattern. Crystal clear elegant depression era glass produced from the early late 1930's to early 1940's into the late 1950's. Decorated with a draping floral etched pattern that is deeply cut, etched or engraved into the glass. T are no cracks, chips or damage, the glass is brilliant and clear with nothing more than a few light scratches inside the bottom probably from stirring. This beauty stands 10" tall to the side of the rim and 9 3/4" to the lip. The base is 4 3/8" across and the shape graceful with a tall slender body and applied blown glass handle. This is a perfect size for lemonade, mint julep or iced tea and it weighs just under 3 pounds. This is not marked as far as I can see but as you well know many of these early pieces had a label or paper tag. T is no mistake when you see the pattern. I am sorry I could not get a better picture of the Vaseline green color when you put it under the black light. This is as good if not better than any other you might find and will be a great deal for the very lucky winner. This could be an awesome gift for your favorite collector and one to be remembered. (T are group photos below but this Listing is for the pitcher only) I estimate a 6 Lb package in a 16" x 16" x 16" box. I will double box and never compromise on packing. Above items are all listed now and I will combine shipping to help you save :) I have been asked to double check for a stress crack and after double checking I can say that I see no crack on the body. The tip of handle at upper portion does have very slight roughness at the point but it feels like it is just the tip or point. T are two fine lines in the handle that can be seen under the magnifying glass but I do not think they are cracked, it is nothing that can be felt but I will add these close up photos. If anyone needs more photos from a certain angle please let me know and I will try and get a better picture. T are lots of shadows and reflection but I hope this helps.
