This auction is for a Wonderful Newly Serviced ELGIN SPORTSMAN MONEY CLIP WITH A 17 JEWEL WATCH The money clip is in the shape of a gold tone horse shoe with a (quality) spring back opening for holding lotsa $$$$ Dial is marked; "ELGIN, SPORTSMAN (in red letters), and 17 JEWELS" Not sure of the date, but it is a vintage wind up watch Measures appr. 2 inches long x 1 1/2 inches wide The numbers and markers are gold tone, as are the hands Watch In Great Condition, and EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER Being that this is an older used watch, t are some surface scratches on the base metal back of the clip (probably from sliding in and out of a person's pocket) Sorry for the poor pictures it is hard to eliminate reflections. I wound the watch yesterday, and he is still ticking nice and strong.This watch has just returned from the local watchmakers w all of my mechanical watches are cleaned, and freshly oiled. In the case of quartz watches, a high quality watch battery is installed. In the 48 Continental States, the shipping is $5.85. Insurance is available, and highly recommended.
