This faberge egg is one-of-a-kind. You won't find another like it. It was commissioned by Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen, who also owns the Seattle Seahawks, and the Portland Trailblazers, as an invitation for his St. Petersburg excursion. Only celebrities, such as Sir Paul McCartney and Elton John, to name a few, and friends received this invitation. The date of the trip, in which he invited many high profile people and friends to take a 4 day cruise to St. Petersburg w he had lavish itinerary for the guests each night, is inscripted on the back of the egg, towards the base. It states: "St Petersburg - August 17-20, 2001." It comes in a mohagany box, with a gold plated Romanov crest, and the inside of the box is lined with silk, and t's a silk pillow setting for the egg to be placed inside. I also include the itinerary book, from Paul Allen, stating all the activities included in the trip. A menu, and travelling information. It states that the event is held by Paul Allen. The egg is one of a kind, and I received it from a friend who worked for the company who designed the invitation. It's very lavish, very beautiful, a great conversation piece, and the egg is nothing you will find anyw else. I only accept paypal as a payment option, and as soon as I received the payment, it'll be shipped within 24 hours via USPS Priority. read more
