RARE FIND! Fioriware Set of Three Grape Garland Pattern

This beautiful dinnerware is from the Fioriware Art Pottery Co , which is no longer in business. Included is a dinner plate that measures approx. 11 1/2" in diameter. a salad plate that measures approx. 8 3/4" in diameter and a bowl that measures 5 5/8 in diameter and 2 3/4 in height in the 'Linen and Bone' color, which is beige with a brown edge. All are in perfect condition. They have no chips or cracks and have only flaws in the manufacture common to handmade pottery which do not detract from the beauty or value such as light crazing in the first glaze and uneven glazing on the back.
Fioriware was located in Zanesville Ohio, which was the historical base for American Art Pottery, and utilized historical hand craft methods of ceramic production.The company is no longer in business and it's beautiful Art Pottery is highly collectable and becoming increasingly difficult to find. Their products are microwave and dishwasher safe, and chip resistant. They have been tested food safe, and are essentially lead and cadmium free. Fioriware emphasized traditional handmade and hand decorating skills in the creation of their products. Fioriware's dinnerware and tabletop accessories are used in the White House,United Nations and at fine restaurants, inns, and spas. Fioriware was purchased by Bruce Springsteen, John Travolta, Carly Simon, Maria Shriver, Michele Pfeiffer, Melanie Griffith, Hillary Clinton, Bette Midler, Wynona Rider, and other individuals from film, music and politics. I will be offering more pieces of this Art Pottery soon, so please watch for my other auctions. I only ship to the U.S. using USPS. Because of the fragility of china,I only ship Priority Mail and insurance and delivery confirmation areincluded in the shipping charge. I pack items carefully to insure their safe arrival.
