BEAUTIFUL GENUINE BAKELITE BANGLEs -- Near Mint Condition -- Deep Carved and Rare Colors!!! Details: Thank you for your patience as I finally became ready to list the rest of my bakelite. This is an exceptionally rare set because it contains a uniquely carved black bangle -- 3/4 inch x 1/8th thick with an 2 1/2 inch opening. It is stunning with no scratches or marks and has a highly polished finish and repeats a deep carved swirl in three spots alternated with an unusual carved split design I've never seen before! It weighs 22.6 grams. I've paired it with a similar sized deeply carved old bangle with the most exquisite color which is a very rare teal (greenish blue) and this is a solid color so can only be seen when held up to the light. It is highly, deeply carved on nearly all of the bangle's surface. This one measures 3/4 of an inch, is 1/16th of an inch thick, and weighs 17.7 grams. As noted, this is a rare find based on the carvings and colors involved and both are in near-mint condition. Estimated retail for this SET at an antique store would be $1000-$2000.
