RARE BOLESLAW CYBIS BISQUE BABY OWL AMERICA'S OLDEST FINE PORCELAIN STUDIO I have come up with yet another delightful Collectible surprise for you to bid on. This is a very rare mid 20th century, CAREFULLY HAND SCULPTURED, HAND CAST, HAND PAINTED BRIGHT EYES AND HAND SIGNED, AUTHENTIC , ORIGINAL, CYBIS CERAMIC FIGURINE NAMED "BABY OWL" . This delicate color added Ceramic figurine of a resting, Brighht Eyed Alert BABY OWL was an original sculpture by the POLISH ARTIST BOLESLAW CYBIS hand signed on the bottom and impressed CYBIS in the outer rim below the signature. BOLESLAW CYBIS was a Polish painter and sculptor (1895-1957) whose paintings and sculpture have been exhibited in many renowned museums such as the International Exhibition of Paintings and Sculpture at the Carnegie Institute, the Albright Museum in Buffalo, the Brooklyn Museum of Art and at Museums in Chicago and Dayton. His ceiling mural was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Art and Technique in Paris France. Cybis created a spectacular array of exquisite Porcelain sculptures renowned and adored the world over. Cybis is world famous as America's oldest Porcelain Studio for museum quality sculpture and painting. He has left a 60 year old legacy of world class art. This delightful sculpture "BABY OWL" is a supurb example of the delightful Birds and Animals and Woodland collection he created.
