US Navy/Marines Early Fighter Pilots Oxygen Mask o2 system chest mounted pressure regulator in original condition. This is a very rare Robertshaw Controls Corp.diluter demand regulator and lower REDAR hose assembly.Designed to be worn on the survival vest or torso harness and used with a mask fitted with a 3 pin twist lock connector. T is a switch on the regulator for 100% Oxygen and diluted supply. This is a very rare and historical piece of Naval Aviators equipment , very few are known to still exist , now is your chance to own this superb piece of flight gear. This item was intented for use by pilots in flight wearing a Gentex or Sierra type flight helmet , in ejection seat aircraft like the F-4 Phantom , F-14 Tomcat , F/A-18 Hornet and A-4 Skyhawk. The pilot of these aircraft were trained in the use of aircrew life support equipment including g-suit and oxygen mask systems in fighter and attack aircraft. The MBU-12 and MBU-14 were masks that were also used with this type of equipment in Naval Aviation.More modern aircraft such at the Super Hornet and Grumman Prowler are now using different types of equipment such as the CRU-103 and GRU-7 ejection seat.
