Freddy Bailey's House of Seeburg Offered this week is a collection of rare brochures and flyers of Kiddy Rides and various Amusement and Carnival rides. I was born in 1942 into a traveling carnival family, who toured with the traveling fairs of England. Over the past seven years I have been writing a book about my life on those Fairs/Carnival's, as well as my life that progressed from those Fair's into the Arcade and Coin Operated Machine Industry. Over the last 50 years I have operated various jukeboxes and coin operated games in several Countries around the World. Now at age 65 I am putting all of my memrous of the industry down on paper in the form of a hardback book to be called "All My Life..........A Showman". During the research for my book I have amassed a great deal of coin operated memoriabilia from around the World that is related to my day's of operating on the Fairgrounds and of my operating jukeboxes and games in both Amusement Arcades and various locations in several Countries around the World. It is my intention to now dispose of most of that collection and let other researchers and collectors enjoy these rare and collectable items. You are bidding on a four page games brochure from the famous French manufacturer Bonzini & Sopransi of the 1930's. This rare and very collectable brochure shows pictures of two of the most successful Crane machines that were operated in France in the early 1930's, as well as their range of three coin Roulette type wall machines each with a different theme as well as their famous "Le Jockey" payout machine. In the late 1920's till the early 1930's t were over 300,000 coin operated cranes being operated all over France, most of the American manufacturers had french distributor's, Mills, Exhibit, Mutoscope and Buckley were all represented. In 1933 the French authorities clamped down on slot machine gambling and also banned the operation of Crane type games. Many of those crane games were bought up by Fred and Tom Bolland from England, as well as John Dennison the creater of the famous working model machines, the cabinets were stripped out and a coin operated working model such as "The Executioner", "The Drunkard" and "The Haunted House" was installed in them . A crane of this caliber today would bring in the region of $25,000 if indeed the few that are still known to exist would ever reach the auction block. Now is your chance to have this rare and very collectable brochure as the pride of your collection at a fraction of the price that you would have to pay for the machine. If you do not want to buy this item then you may wait and buy my up and coming book "All My Life ......A Showman" at only $49.95 w this and many more rare machines will be featured for the first time in any previous published book. This brochure is sold as an "original" and this or any other of my auctions will not offer copies unless clearly stated. Look at the pictures and make your decision to bid. We reserve the right to remove this item or any of our items from an auction at any time without prior notice. Thank you. Freddy Bailey-British Coin Machine Historian
