I am offering for auction this outstanding estate liquidation item. It is a vintage Frisco RR Railroad lantern made by Hanlan Co., St. Louis, MO. This lantern is complete and in excellent original condition with a Frisco embossed red globe. Don't bother trying to find another lantern like this one on e-bay, t are none!! Frame Top Opens Bottom removable container Embossed Dome "Hanlan St. Louis MO USA Embossed Bottom Rim, "FRISCO" Wick Control Knob Marked "Adlake Chicago" Bottom of canister is marked "Handlan Pat #41309 82 St. Louis. Size 10" Tall without Handle, 16" with handle Frame Condition Has very little surface rust Finish is very good Solid and complete No dents, bends or repairs Glass Globe RED Side seams Front embossed "Frisco" inside a rectangle Back embossed "Safety First" "3" "CMX" Globe Condition Surface is excellent No chips on either rim, but lower rim is rough to the feel.
