This is a superb and very rare Emile Galle two tiered tea table. It was part of a recent house clearance w the owner was an avid collector of art deco items from the 1920s & 30s. Wonderful overall design with the curved legs. To the two handled satinwood top, a fine inlay of various fruitwoods with patterns of trees etc in various colours. Similar to the lower level with a larger inlay of leaves on a branch to the left. Overall height is about 33inches with an overall top size inc handles about 26 x 17inches. Under tier is about 28 x 18.5inches. Condition: considering the age, the overall condition is very good with slight rippling to the top with a circular stain to the lower tier. The table can be seen in various Millers Antique books with a price guide exeeding £2000 or $4000. The aution will commence at $49 with no reserve.
