Up for auction I have a RARE & GORGEOUS German Pewter Whiskey/Schnapps Pump with 2 lovely tankard glasses. This is a fabulous set and would be a very unique addition to the pewter lovers collection. This item is in gently used gift giving condition. T is no corrosion or discolorations on this very beautiful pewter Pump and Tankard Glass Set.
**This piece stands perfectly straight contrary to my poor photographs. DESCRIPTION: The inlay depicts very ornate vineyard/brewery scenes. T is a lovely patina on the designs, and a gorgeous sparkling shiney polished finish. The first scene on the pump shows a worker loading/unloading large barrels onto a wagon. The wagon is being pulled by a team of gorgeous draft horses. Absolutely gorgeous detail. The second scene shows the workers tending to huge barrels. Stirring the brew and adding bags of other ingredients. Incredible detail. The third scene shows a group of gentleman sitting at a table at a bistro like setting while a woman plays a guitar. Gorgeous vines of flowers growing on the brick wall behind them. The winner will also receive the 2 unique tankard style shot glasses, though they are larger than a single shot. Gorgeous items! All the scenes on this gorgeous pump feature very ornate images. A lot of foliage and background detail. Very pretty items! The neck and spout of the pump is designed to look like wood. T is a vine like filigree decorating the neck. To fill, just unscrew the neck from the "bowl" area and fill. To dispense the beverage, pump the goose-neck shaped handle. This pump is fully functional and safe to use. Going around the base, t is a very ornate wreath with a floral motif. This rare pump and shot glass set is sure to be a very appreciated treasure for it's new owner. The pictures don't do it justice. DIMENSIONS: The pump measures approximately:HEIGHT: 9 1/2 inches WIDTH: 6 inches BASE: 4 1/2 inches WEIGHT: 1 pound 14 ounces The 2 tankard style shot glasses each measure approximately: HEIGHT: 2 inches WIDTH: 2 1/2 inches WEIGHT: 3.3 ounces All measurements are taken from the highest point to the widest point, including handles, spouts, finials, flips on the lids and all other extentions of the piece. MANUFACTURER MARKINGS: The manufacturer marking on the bottom of the pump says: SKS ZINN 95% Made in Germany.The manufacturer markings on the bottom of the tankard style shot glasses says: SKS DESIGN.
