T is a deep presence, peace and innocence that resonates through the countenance of this Ming style bronze. Cast in two pieces, the statue displays a number of pleasing patinas. Its form is pleasing to the eye. The Buddha touches the Mother Earth in recognition of the moment of enlightenment. Circa: late 19th to early 20th century.
