If you can't take Terror, Don't read, The Clutching Hand. This is stated on the top of this old Horror Comic, and you need to take it's advise. This is The Clutching Hand, Issue No. 1, July-Aug. 1954. Please understand t are some sick and morbid stories in this old book. Condition of this 53 year old comic is good. T is a 1/4" by 3/8" piece missing on the top of the front cover, it also has a 1/2" tear at the top, t are rub marks at top and bottom of spline, the spline also has flex marks and wear marks, t is some minor staining on both covers, the spline has a 1 1/2" tear also, rear cover has a 3/8" tear at bottom edge. Now the good news, this is the first issue of this Rare comic. Check your guide on this one, it is quite high. The cover colors and sheen are in great shape. The cover art is for sure scarry. I wish I could show you all the insane artwork on this comic, Skeletons, Vampires, Ghouls, Creatures, Cat Corpse, and so on. The inside pages, lay flat and true, with outstanding colors as well. If you like Real Horror and Terror, then this is one to get. Out of all my Scarry books, this one is truely(Pardon the Pun) Bad to the Bone. Have fun bidding and as always Thanx... for looking.
