Antique Chinese Canopy bed is a Chinese Antique Canopy bed, 180 ~ 200 years old. Origin is Zhejiang Province, China. Made from Camphor wood. Measures approximately 86" high x 84" wide x 62" deep. Very hard to find a bed of this quality today. I am selling this for someone else, if you have any questions let me know, as I am not an expert on this item. I have been informed that this bed is worth well over $25,000.00 and is currently for sale at a shop in Costa Mesa, California. If you are interested to see the bed you can view it in person t T is one small problem with this bed, the original top ceiling was lost in shipping from China to California, and a replacement ceiling was made. This ceiling has not been fitted to the bed, and t are two options. One is to attach it like the original ceiling with notched that fits into the frame above, or the other is to screw it on with wood screws. So please let me know your preference for this. I will be travelling in May and this bed if not sold on auction, will only be available to buy at the shop in Costa Mesa.
