is a somewhat rare item, a 1950's Grapette drink mix coin bank. This particular one is of an elephant. This particular bank is nearly in mint condition. The screw on the lid works well, the label is intact and very readable and the glass is clean with no chips, cracks or other imperfections. This bank measures about 7 1/2 inches tall, about 3 1/2 inches wide and about 3 inches from front to back. On the screw top lid it has a clown face with the mouth providing for the coin opening. Also says, "Grapette Family Syrup." Around the rim of the cap it says, "Grapette Products Company, Camden, Ark." These same words appear on the bottom of the jar only in the glass. The label is intact with only some minor fading of the colors along the edges and one minor wrinkle in the label towards the bottom. The only word on the entire label that CAN NOT BE READ is the number of fl. oz., it appears it might read 16. This bank is in great condition, t is no rust on the screw lid, only minor smudge & dirt marks on it. The bank/glass container has no chips or imperfections on it, no words can describe just how good of condition this item is in. I would just grade it just a notch below mint because of the fading on the label, but as you can see in the pictures the words can be read. Bid with confidence, check my feedback from other buyers.
