BEAUTIFUL RARE HALF-SIZE (Apartment size?) HOOSIER CABINET WITH STENCILED GLASS DOORS, c. 1930. This cabinet is an unusual size, measuring approx. 25" w x 23" d x 69"h. Wood is in wonderful condition with some minors scratchs. Enamel is in excellent condition as is pull out wooden work surface (under enamel). Original metal lined bread box with sliding lid (right hand large drawer in picture). Wooden rolling door beneath glass doors works great. Interior surfaces behind glass and rolling door could use new coat of paint since t is some wear from use. The following is stamped on the back of the top half of the cabinet: "#R20 WHITE". This is a rare find -- a terrific size (I had it in my NYC apartment for years as well as in a single-family home kitchen). A true gem from the Depression era. Buyer must pick up in Bethesda, MD. -- no shipping/no returns.
