Up for auction is this elegant footed pink glass lidded dish, made by the Heisey Glass Compny. It is in the Empress pattern. I was told this was used as a marmalade jar. It is marked with the traditional H in a diamond behind one of the feet. It stands upon 3 dolphin feet. The lid has a slot for a spoon. This piece lists for $200+. I ended my listing early and re-listed this again because I noticed 3 small fleabites on the lid on the outer rim. I wanted to describe this accurately with no surprises to the winning bidder. It measures 4 3/4" in diameter. With the lid on it is 5" tall to the top of the finial. Without the lid it is 2 7/8" tall. This piece would make an excellent addition to any elegant glass, Heisey glass, or depression glass collection.
