This is a 1983 issue Schrade Split Backspring Mountain Whittlers Knife Club Whittler for auction, 3 7/8" closed. As you probably know, the Schrade factory is now closed. The tang stamp reads Heritage Schrade NY,USA and the shield is custome style stamped with "MWKC". The master Clip blade is etched with "Mountain Whittlers Knife Club 1 of 80" and is pattern stamped on the rear tang with 8401 . All 4 of the nickel silver bolsters are grooved. The front nickel silver bolster is serial numbered with # 8. This Schrade 1983 issue true Split Backspring Whittler is in mint condition (and comes with the factory orginal box) and being offered at No Reserve.
