J 53 N 8 This seems to be bigger than others I have seen listed. Approx. measurements: 7 5/8" tall, 5" at widest, 7" spout to handle. I believe this to be one of the most sought after Virginia Rose patterns. I am not a collector, so I will describe the piece as best as I can. PLEASE email me with any questions and for additional pictures. This piece is in great condition especially for being over 50 years old. T are no cracks, no chips, and no crazing. The pattern remains vibrant and detailed. I don't believe that this piece sat on a shelf, but was respectfully used (special occasions?). T are some dark spots inside the pitcher, especially at the base. It's as if overtime liquid seeped under the glaze. A couple of these spots went through to outside bottom base. The trim is nearly intact. It has a couple of very slight wear spots. This may just be the way it was made. T are a couple of slight discoloration spots, including a thin line (about 1 1/2") on one of the sides. I don't believe this to be a hairline crack or a scratch. It likes like a place w liquid seeped under the glaze. It reminds me of a very light pencil mark. T are a couple of small scratches, which I only saw under focused light. These "flaws" do not detract from the beauty of the piece, but do show its age and character. I am very particular with the pottery I collect, so I try my best to give you the particulars of those pieces I sell. Overall, I consider this piece to be in great condition.
