Thanks for visting my auctions. Saved from construction destruction ! Offered this week from the days of the Dinosaurs is this beautiful monster sized Rare Genus Oxytropidoceras , ( Benavidesites ) approx. 10 inches. about 4 pounds sweet fossil Ammonite. ( A true Texas beauty and about the prettiest I've ever prepared! ) This guy has a great rib structure as shown in my photos,,just look! Great grey natural color mix with other tones and colors.! This Ammonite was a fun one to prep. and however worked out pretty well. In fact I did get a nice prep. on both sides and simply covered with other life forms. Nice high banked ribs with chips. This very rare A mmonite comes from the 103 million year old Goodland Fm. of North Texas. Albian Stage, Fredericksburg Group,Cretaecous, Tarrant County of Fort Worth Texas which I found with permission. Slight repairs. Natural mineralized colors. Nice first lowwwwww bid request . Great show- n- tell at school ! Super display Ammonite. Sealed and prepared with Shellac the old way. Needs a secure home. Normal 100 million year old chips , dings and scars. I hope my first bid request is fair Yup ! Lot cheaper to send than a 50 lb. example I assure you. Please let this Ammonite be a new addition to your collection for years to come. Normal scars and dings from a hundred million years of aging. Cheers!
