Circa: 1918 Up for auction again for a limited time only, is a Seldom seen Ingraham Navarre Model Banjo Clock.These are very rare and many in the business call these the mini Nyanza's. Because the dial and lower door fits perfectly on that Large Banjo as well. The clock appears to be all original and it has been serviced and runs quite well. Stored away for over 40 years. This clock is not only rare but a time & strike clock as well, many were time only. This one strikes the hours and half hours on a nice sounding coil gong. The movement is signed and dated 9-25 that was the last year Ingraham made these clocks. Some call it a Banjo some a wall hanging clock but none the less a real rare model. I have only seen two others in 20 years of collecting. And both had the same lower glass issues. The only fault on this clock is the lower glass tablet. It is in the original three colors green with gold then a blue back background. Which someone poorly restored. If I was to keep this clock and I am considering it greatly, I would scrap off the blue and redo that part only and keep rest of glass original or just leave it alone. How many of these has any one seen lately. The finish although some what dark is original and in not bad condition. I would not touch that, it is the same finish used on the Nyanza's as well.
