A Rare Irish Large Table Serving Spoon with full Dublin Hallmarks for 1810 and Double Maker's Marks for William LAW and "TT" probably Thomas Tudor Dublin Ireland Large Table Sterling Silver Serving Spoon LARGE CLEAR FULL HALLMARKS FOR DUBLIN 1810 With Double Maker's marks for (William) "LAW" and "TT" You are bidding on a fine large Sterling Silver Fiddle Pattern Table Serving Spoon made in Dublin Ireland in 1810 with fine large clear hallmarks and a handsome engraved noble crest. This unusually bears TWO maker's marks for the silversmiths who made the spoon and perhaps retailed it. These are "LAW" and "TT" for William Law a noted Dublin silversmith, and probably Thomas Tudor. AN UNUSUAL AND INTERESTING PIECE AND A FINE ADDITION TO A SERIOUS COLLECTION SEE THE PICTURES AND DETAILS BELOW This fine Large Table or Serving Spoon is of excellent workmanship and good gauge weighing two and a half ounces or 69 grams of hallmarked sterling silver. It is of large size, at just on nine inches long (9.0 ins / 22.5 cms). It shows some bowl tip wear, but overall is in very good condition, with large clear hallmarks and a finely engraved noble crest of a bird of prey on an armorial chapeau.
