THIS IS A ANTIQUE OR VINTAGE JAX BEER LIGHT-UP ADVERTISING SIGN. IT IS CONE SHAPED AT THE BOTTOM WITH A PLASTIC COLOR WHEEL COVER OVER THE LIGHT. IT HAS VERY UGLY PLASTIC GREENERY IN THE TOP LIKE A WALL POCKET. T IS A HORSE WITH A SOLDIER RIDING. (I'M SURE I SHOULD KNOW WHAT TO CALL HIM, BUT I DON'T) HE IS TIPPING HIS HAT, CARRYING A SWORD/SABER. THE FRONT HAS THE JAX LOGO WITH JACKSON BREWING COMPANY NEW ORLEANS, LA ITEM NO 13. THE BACK HAS A STICKER LP, LAKESIDE PLASTICS CHICAGO, ANOTHER STICKER WITH TWO HORSE HEADS WITH LETTERS AND SAYS UNION MADE. SOME RUST ON THE BACK. THE PLASTIC COLOR WHEEL SHOWS BUCKLING W THE GREENERY IS STUCK IN . COULD USE A LITTLE MORE CLEANING. LIGHT WORKS GREAT. CORD IS VERY, VERY LONG. TWO HOLES ON BACK FOR MOUNTING. MEASURES 13 1/2 TALL x 11 1/4 WIDE.

THIS UNUSUAL LIGHT WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.

Thanks for the info, now I know that the man on the horse is Andrew Jackson, a copy of the statue that is the center piece of Jackson Square in New Orleans, which happens to be directly across from the original Jackson Brewery which is now a retail mall.
